佐々木綾子
兵庫県尼崎市出身。京都精華大学にて陶芸を専攻。
青年海外協力隊隊員として、ブルガリア・トロヤン陶芸高校に赴任。
帰国後、陶芸家のアシスタントを経て独立。
ろくろなどの動力を使わず、主に石膏型による成形手びねり成形で
作られたからこそ得られる独特の土のたわみを持ち味とした
うつわ作りをしています。

Ayako Sasaki
From Amagasaki, Hyogo
Majored in ceramics in Kyoto Seika University
She got assigned to teach in Troyan Ceramic school in the Republic of Bulgaria
as a volunteer member from Japanese International Cooperation Agency.
After returning to Japan, she worked as an assistant potter and went independent.
Her works are uniquely textured and bended due to the hand forming process.
She rarely uses steering wheel in order to create the uniqueness.
