陶芸家・福村龍太氏のもとで修行を積み、独立。
通常一度で終わらせる「本焼き」を二度繰り返すことで、一度の焼成では出せない、
深みと奥行きのある独特の質感を生み出しています。
独立して間もないながらも、その造形はすでに洗練されており、
美しく整ったフォルムが際立ちます。
1996年 長野県上田市生まれ
2021年 福岡県にて陶芸家 福村龍太氏に師事
2024年 埼玉県所沢に移り自身の制作を開始

Sota Obara
Mr. Obara trained under ceramic artist Ryuta Fukumura before starting his own production.
By repeating the "final firing" process twice, which is usually completed in one go, he creates a unique texture with depth and dimension that cannot be achieved with a single firing.
Although he has only recently become independent as a ceramist, his works already stand out with their refined, beautifully balanced forms.
1996 Born in Ueda City, Nagano Pref.
2021 Trained under ceramic artist Ryuta Fukumura in Fukuoka Pref.
2024 Moved to Tokorozawa, Saitama Pref. and started his own production
